One family of appliances, worked on properly.
This is an independent service. It is not part of Sub-Zero, and it does not pretend to be — what it is, is a workshop that spends its whole week on built-in refrigeration in Marblehead and the towns around it.
What this covers
- One appliance family: Sub-Zero refrigeration, including the integrated and undercounter units that are hardest to get at
- Sealed-system diagnosis carried out with gauges on the machine, not inferred from the cabinet temperature
- Factory-approved parts where the part number matters, which on refrigeration is most of the time
- A flat $95 service call, credited in full against an approved repair
How a fault is worked
Refrigeration only
Columns, drawers, undercounter units and wine storage. No ranges, no laundry — one family of appliances, worked on every day.
Readings before parts
Suction and discharge pressures, evaporator and condenser temperatures, defrost circuit resistance. A part is ordered because a number says so.
Salt air is part of the job
Condensers on the peninsula load up with salt and grit far faster than they do inland, and a fan motor seizes years earlier for it. Both get looked at on every call.
Panels come off carefully
Integrated units live inside cabinetry that was built around them. Trim, hinges and toe kicks are removed and refitted, not levered.
What this page will not tell you.
There is no count of jobs closed here, no percentage fixed on the first visit and no founding date, because none of those would be checkable and a number you cannot check is worth nothing. What can be checked is on the page already: the appliances worked on, the flat $95 service call, the towns covered, and a phone number answered 24/7.
A unit still inside the manufacturer's own cover should go to a provider the manufacturer has appointed, and it is worth asking for one — that is not us. Everything outside that is exactly what this service is for.
Talk it through first.
Most calls start with a description and a model number, and finish with a straight answer about whether a visit is worth booking.
